Whilst you’ve been fast sleep  dreaming about girls, food, and global domination, my under-paid copy/paste elves have been working non-stop to transfer blu-ray reviews from my old blog  to their new home here at the onelargeprawn blog. The beatings were severe,  morale was low, but the elves persevered and got the job half done.

So without further ado, click MY MOVIE REVIEWS from the top menu, or click a movie from the list below to go straight to it’s Blu-ray review:

Just a suggestion…. why don’t you add things like video and sound quality to your blu-ray reviews… that is the main aspect I consider when buying a blu-ray.

The reasons I have not put in sound and audio quality sections to my review are thus:

Audio: I am restricted to using an optical cable for sound – I’m no whizz at audio but I’m told that it converts the uncompressed 5.1 sound to dolby digital which is compressed, so I’m not exactly getting the audio as it is indended. Also I do not have a full surround sound system.

Video: I have an HD-ready LCD, the picture is scaled down from full HD to fit on my screen so I won’t be seeing the picture in full HD as it’s intended.
