Dead Fly Art

I think the title alone sells it. Find the unusual images after the jump.

No word on who created this high-flying art, but the Internet has called him/her Flychelangelo. Find more dead fly art at AcidCow.

When will hipster idiots stop referring to advertisements as “the jump”. It’s not a “jump”, it’s an ad. Calling it a “jump” doesn’t make it cute, hip or any less rotten.

      Lawn:
I think you are confused. “After the jump” doesn’t refer to ads but rather to clicking for the rest of the post. The blog version of “below the fold”.

    • Lucy Furr on October 12th, 2009

Thanks for clearing that up Rachel – you are of course 100% correct.

@GetOffMyLawn – When was the last time anyone even used a word like “hipster”? Some time in the mid 60s would be my guess. If you think we’re idiots, go read another blog – maybe one about denture care or stamp collecting would be more your speed. Oh and compared to many other blogs and websites, we have very few ads – so what really is your problem? Do you have an issue with advertising on blogs? It’s just a way for us to try and make some money to pay for hosting etc. there’s nothing sinister, or as you say “rotten” about about it, and we certainly don’t disguise the advertising on our site. If it’s an ad, it looks like an ad.

Maybe you can start using other bugs like lady bugs, caterpillars, butterflies, zucchini bugs, pill bugs, and maybe some centipedes. Imagine a basket ball court filled with all these bugs, there’s no ball, but there is a lady bug.
