Another Cracking “Sherlock Holmes” Trailer

After the first trailer for Guy Ritchie’s upcoming action-adventure Sherlock Holmes, our very own Lucy Furr felt a tad weird about this re-imagining of England’s finest detective. Being of a simpler mind, I thought it was flippin’ fantastic, and from the looks of the latest trailer, it’s going to be a jolly good show indeed.

There’s a fair amount of rollicking action thrown in there, Irene Adler looks tasty, and Watson and Holmes share some intimate, Bromance moments. Have a look at the trailer below or watch it in HD at YouTube.

Sherlock Holmes stars Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, and Rachel McAdams. The movie will hit U.S. theatres on December 25th, 2009. It will reportedly air in South African movie houses on January 8th 1st, 2010.

I whole-heartedly agree with Lucy. Im worried, but lets wait and see. I honestly see the casting the other way around. Law as Holmes, Downey as Watson.

  Yea no fine. That’s such a saffer thing isn’t it?
  It does look a bit camp as you said, but there’s nothing wrong with that. I was in physics camp once and I turned out fine.
  Seriously though, Law as Holmes and Downey as Watson would work superbly as well.
