Dredd!

Well it’s finally here and it looks great. It’s the teaser for the proper interpretation of the iconic ass-kicking Judge from the future, Dredd.

Dredd fans have been waiting since the 90s, and it’s one of my most anticipated movies of 2012. After the Stallone version, it’s time for the Mega-City anti-hero to be given some respect and from this teaser it looks like he has. Personally, I would have preferred Mickey Rourke as the lawman, both for size and age but Karl Urban looks like he will pull it off. So take a look and let us know what you think.

Dredd is due for release on September 21, 2012.

    Hmm, not convinced. fear it could be as bad as the stallone one. and why does Dredd look so small? and his armour looks too big. i agree mickey roucke could have been good

      My expectations are so low these days it’d take a Sarah Jessica Parker movie to disappoint me. That being said, I truly hope it won’t go the same as the Stallone one.

      Dredd’s not smaller, he is “leaner” ;)

    First off, let’s just get this out of the way: Dredd in no way evokes Sylvester Stallone’s turn as Judge Dredd. Wipe that movie, and whites of Dredd’s eyes, clear from your mind.

      Review confirms my feelings about this take on Dredd. Sounds really good, and happy that the helmet wasnt removed….Urban has a secure ego.
