Hello Pop Culture Kitty

If you liked the Hello Kitty Crossovers from Kiwi illustrator Joseph Senior, you’re sure to love the creations from Andrew Mark Hunter. Under the alias of Yayzus Graphics, Hunter takes the iconic Japanese character Kitty White (born in posh London) and morphs her with characters from popular movies, TV series, and cartoons.

Say hello to Hunter’s cute mashups after the jump.

Cute Hello Kitty Crossovers

As a tribute to George Lucas, illustrator Joseph Senior from New Zealand decided to combine his love of Star Wars with an insanely popular bobtail cat from Japan. It was a genius idea and has led to him creating more Hello Kitty crossovers with icons from TV, movies, comics, and video games. Have a look at some of his work after the jump.

A to Z of Awesomeness

A comic book artist by the name of Neill Cameron is on a quest to draw STUFF that is AWESOME. Calling his project “Neill’s A-Z of Awesomeness”, he draws a character daily based on suggestions from his Facebook group, Twitter, and comments on his blog.

So for each letter of the alphabet I am going to let people suggest a character, and I will then draw that character, on a daily basis. Got it? You are also allowed to suggest what that character should be doing, with bonus points awarded for imaginative alliteration.

His wonderful series of illustrations is currently up to the letter U. Check out some of comically cool creations below.

See the full list on Neill’s blog.
