Photos are often referred to as life’s moments frozen in time. While Singapore-based photographer Fong Qi Wei loves photography as a medium, he wondered whether it would be possible to combine the permanence of photos and the movement of time as recorded by video cameras.

In Time is a Dimension, Fong setup his tripod in places around Singapore and took series of photos for a period of two and fours hours, mostly of sunrises and sunsets for a varied colour range. He then combined the images into a single, layered image.

The basic structure of a landscape is present in every piece. But each panel or concentric layer shows a different slice of time, which is related to the adjacent panel/layer. The transition from daytime to night is gradual and noticeable in every piece, but would not be something you expect to see in a still image.

Colourised History

Reddit is home to a great many areas of interests. Want to see animals without necks? Here to you go. Have a hankering for cute guys with cuddly animals? Lady Boners Gone Cuddly has you covered.

What about adding colour to black-and-white photographs from the 19th and 20th centuries? The digital artists over at the ColorizedHistory subreddit use their eye for colour and reference information to emphasize the embroidery work in Buffalo Bill’s jacket, or the fiery disaster that was the Hindenburg, or the crisp blue uniform of a civil war powder monkey. Bizarre Animal Morphs

deviantART user HumanDescent from the U.K. has a vivid imagination. The digital artist thinks up what different species of animal would look like if they were interbred, and with the power of Photoshop, makes that union happen. Nosferatu is mashed up with a frog to create Nosferafrog. A Rabbick is a rabbit combined with a baby chicken, and one of his cutest creations is a Pog.

Meet Leonardo DiHapprio

Earlier in June, a photo of a sad Keanu Reeves perched on a park bench caught the attention of Reddit users. An outpouring of love for the sullen actor resulted in hundreds of photoshopped images flooding the Internet. And just when people thought the Sad Keanu meme had died, he popped up in a collage that quite frankly is the only one we don’t think needs more cowbell.

And in that image of the Meme Team, you may have noticed a rather jolly Leonardo DiCaprio in the background. Originally taken during the filming of Inception, a now photoshopped Leo Strut (or Leonardo DiHapprio) is now doing the rounds with Leo joyfully walking past some terribly awkward situations. However, this is the Internet and someone out there will be more than happy to make your dreams come true. For funsies, Tumblr user see-globes has used the power of Photoshop to marry the head of People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive (2009) and the bodies of old-fashioned calendar girls. Unsurprisingly, the results are hilarious.

I wanted to start off by saying that my Photoshop skills are as great as my penis is long but then realised how I just insulted myself so I gave up on that intro and went with something a little less self-deprecating.

I know as much about art as a garden snail knows about astrophysics, but I made something that I think looks a little arty. It was an entry that I created for a competition on the local Playstation 3 forum; I converted into a wallpaper and wanted to share it with you – it’s called Invade or Die.

Keeping true to our theme that choice is the most important priority right after love, sex, intelligence, pets, internet, and a whole bunch of other stuff, I have prepared a few different resolutions of the wallpaper in case you might actually like it and want to download a bigger version.

Here’s gallery from the Worth 1000 vault of awesomeness. In Pinocchio 15, photoshoppers were asked to shrink or enlarge the facial features on any celebrity to create an amusing caricature. The rules were simple:

No breasts, butts or genitals, at all, no exceptions, don’t even try. Use FACES. And no breasts on faces. Or butts.
